Advertising that is already paid for
The van is on the road anyway. Sign-writing it turns a cost you already carry into something that is seen every time it is parked on a job, sat in traffic, or left outside a customer's house for an afternoon. For trades working a defined area, it is often the cheapest advertising per impression available.
It also does something a leaflet cannot: it puts your name outside a house on the street where you are working, in front of the neighbours who can see the work happening.

From lettering to full wraps
Cut-vinyl lettering, part wraps and full printed wraps, laminated to resist fading and stone chips. We template your exact vehicle model, so the artwork you approve is what gets fitted.
Templating matters more than it sounds. A van is not a flat surface: it has swage lines, door shuts, handles and curves, and artwork laid out on a rectangle will land with the logo split across a join. Working to the template for your exact model is what puts the name where you meant it to be.
Every print is laminated. The laminate is what takes the stone chips, the jet wash and the ultraviolet, and it is the difference between livery that still looks deliberate after years on the road and livery that has gone chalky and started to lift at the edges.
What to decide before you ask for a quote
Decide how much of the vehicle you want covered. Cut lettering on the doors and rear is the economical option and reads cleanly. A part wrap covers the panels that face traffic. A full wrap changes the colour of the vehicle entirely and is the one that gets looked at.
Then the practical details: the exact model, year and body variant, because templates differ; whether the vehicle is leased, since a lease often has conditions about what may be applied; and what has to be legible at speed. A phone number and a trade are usually worth more than a strapline nobody can read at thirty miles an hour.
Fitting, and how to look after it
We fit from our workshop in Ipswich, five minutes from the Waterfront, and we work with businesses across Suffolk, East Anglia and London. The vehicle needs to be clean and dry for application, and we will tell you what that means in practice before you bring it in.
Afterwards it washes like the rest of the vehicle. Quotations are free.
Common questions
- Will a wrap damage my paintwork?
- Vehicle vinyl is designed to come off. On sound original paint it is applied to the surface, not into it. Where a vehicle has been resprayed or has failing paint, tell us beforehand so we can look at it first.
- Can you wrap a leased vehicle?
- Frequently, but check your lease first — some have conditions about what may be applied and about the state the vehicle must be returned in.
- How do I wash a wrapped vehicle?
- As you would the rest of it. The laminate over the print is there to take the jet wash, the stone chips and the sunlight.
- Lettering or a full wrap?
- Cut lettering on the doors and rear is economical and reads cleanly at a distance. A full wrap changes the vehicle's colour completely and is the one people look at. A part wrap sits between the two.
