The board everything else sits on
The fascia is the horizontal band above your window, and it is the largest single surface on most frontages. It carries the name, it sets the colour of the whole shopfront, and when it is tired it makes everything below it look tired too.
It is also the substrate for other work: letters are fixed to it, graphics are applied to it, and illumination is built into it. Getting the board right first is what keeps the rest straight.
Often paired with complete shopfronts and 3D letters.
Survey to installation
Aluminium composite fascias and folded trays with printed or cut-vinyl graphics, or 3D letters for extra impact. Where your existing board is in good condition we may re-use it, better for the environment and for your budget.
A folded tray is the more substantial option: the panel is returned at the edges so there is no exposed cut edge for water to work into, and it sits proud of the wall with a clean shadow line. A flat composite panel is simpler and lighter, and on a sheltered frontage it does the job perfectly well.
Graphics go on either as printed vinyl, laminated to hold its colour, or as cut lettering, which has no background at all and lets the board colour show through. Which one suits depends on whether the design has photographs and gradients in it or is flat colour and type.
What to decide before you ask for a quote
Look at the board you already have. If it is sound, say so — re-using it is usually the cheaper and greener answer, and we would rather do that than send a serviceable panel to landfill.
Then decide whether the sign is illuminated, whether letters will be fixed to the face, and whether there is a landlord specification or a conservation area constraint to work within. And measure the opening if you can: the width of the fascia is the single number that changes the quotation most.

We survey, prepare artwork for approval, manufacture in Ipswich and fit. We cover Suffolk, East Anglia and London, and we fit at times that suit the trade where a frontage cannot be closed during the day.

- Can you re-use my existing fascia board?
- If it is in good condition, yes. We would rather re-use a sound panel than replace it — it is better for the environment and usually cheaper for you.
- What is a folded tray?

- Yes, and it is a common combination — the board carries the colour and the letters carry the name. Doing both together means the fixings are planned into the panel rather than drilled through it afterwards.
