Shop Signs
Your shop sign is the first thing customers see. We design, make and fit complete shopfronts across Ipswich and Suffolk.

The whole frontage, not one board
A shopfront is rarely one sign. It is usually a fascia across the top, something projecting so the shop is visible along the pavement, lettering or graphics on the glass, and often an illuminated element for the hours after dark. They have to look like one decision rather than four.
That is the part most worth getting right. A fascia in one typeface, a projecting sign in another and window vinyl in a third is the commonest way a frontage ends up looking cheaper than it cost.
Often paired with fascia signs, 3D letters and window graphics.
Everything your shopfront needs
Fascia signs, projecting signs, 3D and flat-cut letters, illuminated signs and window vinyl, in premium materials with original Mimaki inks. Five minutes from the Ipswich Waterfront, fitting at times that suit the trade.
Doing the whole frontage in one workshop is what keeps the colours matching. A red printed on vinyl and a red painted on a built-up letter are not automatically the same red, and matching them after the fact is difficult.
Where your existing fascia board is sound, we may re-use it rather than send it to landfill and put a new one up. It is better for the environment and it is usually better for your budget too.
What to decide before you ask for a quote
Decide what the sign has to achieve first: is the problem that people walk past without noticing, or that they cannot find you after dark, or that the frontage looks tired next to the neighbours? Those lead to different answers.
Then the practical questions. Is the unit listed or in a conservation area? Is there a landlord with a shopfront specification? Is there power at the fascia, or would a lit sign need a supply run? And when can we work — some frontages are easier to fit outside trading hours, and we fit at times that suit the trade.
Survey, manufacture and fitting
We survey the frontage, prepare artwork for your approval, manufacture in Ipswich and fit. Being five minutes from the Waterfront means town-centre jobs are straightforward for us to reach, and we cover Suffolk, East Anglia and London.
Quotations are free, and we would rather tell you a smaller job will do than sell you a bigger one that will not.
Common questions
- Can you match my existing branding?
- Yes. Send the artwork or the brand guidelines and we will work to them. Where a colour has to appear on both printed vinyl and a painted letter, we match them in the workshop rather than leaving it to chance.
- Do I need permission for a new shop sign?
- Often, especially on a listed building or in a conservation area, and more so if the sign is illuminated. We can advise where consent is likely to be needed.
- Can you re-use my existing fascia board?
- Where it is in good condition, yes — we would rather re-use it than replace it. It is better for the environment and usually better for the budget.
- Can you fit outside opening hours?
- We fit at times that suit the trade. Tell us when the frontage is free and we will work to it.
